Does my parent need a smartphone or any app?▾
No. Nithyam works on any phone that has WhatsApp — even a basic Android. Your parent just taps a button to respond. No app download, no login, no typing required.
What if my parent doesn't use WhatsApp at all?▾
Our AI will still attempt a direct voice call to their mobile number every morning. Even without WhatsApp, the voice call backup ensures they are checked on daily.
What languages are the messages sent in?▾
Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English. You choose the language during registration. Voice calls are also made in the same language with a warm, natural AI voice.
Who gets alerted if my parent doesn't respond?▾
First, our AI makes a voice call. If still no response, we alert you (the NRI child) via WhatsApp. Simultaneously, we also alert your registered local neighbour or emergency contact in India — so someone nearby can physically check on them.
Can I cancel anytime? What is the refund policy?▾
Yes, cancel anytime — no questions asked. The ₹499 trial first month is non-refundable after service begins. From month 2 onwards, if you cancel within the first 7 days of a billing cycle, we refund that month's payment in full.
Is my parent's data safe and private?▾
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We store data in secure Indian cloud servers. We never share health or personal information with any third party. Only you (the registered NRI child) can access your parent's reports.
What happens on public holidays or network outages?▾
Nithyam runs 365 days a year including holidays. If there is a temporary network issue, the system retries automatically. If a check-in is missed due to a technical failure on our side, you are notified and we do not charge for that day.
